Beautiful Curls with KISS InstaWave

*Sponsored by BrandBacker and KISS, but all opinions are my own*
I am so happy to be sharing this KISS InstaWave review with you guys. One thing I really envy my sister for (and my girl cousins), is their hair curling skills. I mean, they really have it down to a science.

It's not necessarily that I'm bad or don't know how, just that unlike them, it takes me about a half hour of me sorta accomplishing anything. For one, I take lots of breaks because my arm gets tired LOL. I also get impatient separating my strands and I get lazy towards the end when I have to curl the back of my head. Somehow my sister, whose hair is much longer than mine, can get it done in ten minutes, with no struggling and it looks flawless.

The sad thing is that my hair actually has natural curl to it so it curls nicely, when my sister does it for me haha. That is why I loved trying out the KISS Instawave. My shorter hair really looks great when it's curled and thanks to the InstaWave, I can do this much more often.

So what is the Kiss InstaWave? Well it's basically a self-curling curling iron. You just grab a strand of hair, put the InstaWave vertically next to the strand and then push the dial on it and bam, your hair gets curled. Sounds easy right?!

Well, kinda. I'm not saying its not genius or that it isn't easy, just that it takes a bit of practice, as with anything. At first I would curl in the "wrong direction" (towards my face, not away) and so my hair would get caught and tangled and no curl would result. But after a few tries and as I kept going, it got easier and still took less time curling my hair then my regular curling iron/wand.
I was actually very pleased with how my hair turned out. I prefer wavy curls to tight ones, especially with my short hair (Afro, no thank you). Better yet, the curls actually last. I fell asleep after I had taken the pictures for this post, and this morning my hair still had the nice waves. I even got a compliment from my coworker. And who doesn't love good hair days, especially on Fridays.

My only complaint would be that the iron did get a little hot and made a weird noise, but I'm guessing that's because of the curling action motor (thing?!). Other than that, I was surprisingly pleased and will be using it for those mornings where I wanna make my hair look nice, but am short on time.

I hope this review was helpful. Let me know in the comments below if you would try out products such as this one. And if you wanna learn more about the KISS InstaWave, click here.

Weekly Wishes #9

Here's this week's Weekly Wishes post. I had actually had it ready since the beginning of the week, but got busy and didn't finish writing it until today. Lots of crazy things have happened in the past week both good and bad.

The good: I got to spend a very spontaneous fun Saturday in Ojai with James. I'm talking books, good conversation and goatnog (yes you read that right and mine was spiced with rum, thank you very much). The bad news: I was told yesterday I only have a job for two more weeks. Yea that was not expected, but at least I'll have more time for this blog while I find another job :)

Now since last week I did the Monthly Wishes post for December, here are this week's goals pertaining to those:

1. Edit Vlogmas Vids- I have uploaded the first one on my vlog channel, but because my computer was acting up due to too much memory being used (oops), I had to actually take valuable editing time going through it and dumping what I could onto an external hard drive. But now that that's taken care of, I can edit the small batch in a Flash!

2. Finish a book (or two)- I have been reading more so this may actually be possible this week. I am more than halfway done with a book and still have another one that I finished mid-way. Plus I got some new books in Ojai.

3. Look for a Job- I was applying to jobs before the bad news, but now I'm applying even crazier than ever! Any leads would be swell, (in LA please, LOL).

Also, I wanted to say that I really appreciate your comments. Ooh that's something else I want to get to this week. I feel like I need to be on top of that more rather than waiting weeks to answer back.

Weekly Wishes #8: December Wishes

So I tried posting this on December 1st, but I failed, obviously. LOL. At least it is only a day late. And yes I realized I totally forgot to post my wishes last week, but let's face it, I had only posted the previous week's wishes and it was a short week. Plus I was getting pumped up for Thanksgiving, which was the best one I've had.

Since my family doesn't really plan much for that day, other than getting ready for Black Friday (which I skipped), I ended up spending it with my new man and his family (I've known them since HS so no this wasn't weird). We ate a healthier version of the traditional dinner, I made pie, he made cake (both pumpkin of course) and we played Monty Python Monopoly. But anyway, you're here for the Weekly Wishes.

In my last Weekly Wishes I had kept it simple. My goals were to:

1. Write out budget- Still not on paper, but it's working people. But yea need to put pen to paper.

2. Write Blog Schedule-Yea this didn't happen, but it will.

Since December is a new month however, this week's wishes will be a bit broader. As for last month's wishes, I only managed to complete the budget one, sorta. I did read a little more and I did try to eat a bit healthier, but not enough to say I even sorta did it (is that even English?).

But without further ado, here are this month's wishes:

1. Do Vlogmas- As I've mentioned before, I do have a vlog channel on Youtube but I've fallen way behind on editing. Despite that, I am thinking of doing Vlogmas this year and will be posting those videos, even as I try to catch up with the rest of the uploads.

2. Read More- Yep still a goal, especially since it's finally the nice cool weather here in LA.

3. Organize my Blog- I definitely need to work on my blog more and organize myself better. December seems to be slower at work, so this is the perfect opportunity to do this.

4. Eat Healthier and Workout- I think I'm finally ready to get back into the groove, so let's do this.

So there you have it. I am shortening the list a bit from last month, but I think it's doable. Let's end this year with a bang, but in the meantime, let's make it a good one.

Jake and Caleb Book Giveaway

I am so excited to be writing this post and sharing this book with you. If you can't tell, the Holidays are just around the corner. I mean stores seriously have Black Friday ads bombarding us since Halloween ended and you bet people will be lining up this Friday (or Thursday). This means we have to start thinking about gifts for family and loved ones.

One of my favorite gifts to gift as well as receive are books. Often when friends and family ask me what I want for Christmas, the answer will mostly likely be books. Sure I want other things as well, but books are always guaranteed hits in my book, excuse the pun. Ever since I was little, I've had a love for books and would light up when I would get them as gifts or when I'd get a Barnes and Noble Card. Because of this, I'm excited to be doing this giveaway in partnership with my friend Gina's publishing company, Jake and Caleb Publishing.

Gina has offered to giveaway two copies of the first book published by her company, and written by our friend Vanessa Wilson, to two lucky readers. I myself have already ordered a couple copies to give out as gifts to a few friends and family members. Honestly, the work that has gone into this endearing tale of two brothers and their imaginative adventure to the moon. I think every child can relate to going on some sort of adventure from their minds creation. It truly is a great book for kids and will be a great addition to story time.

I am running this giveaway until Dec. 10 so that they can be sent in time for the holidays. You can also purchase the book, here. Your kids will thank you :)

Weekly Wishes #7

Soooo,  I know this post is going up pretty late this week, but it was just a busy week. I'd actually started working on it early during the week, but of course, just as soon a I think I have downtime at work, it gets busy at the office. I can't believe how fast this month has gone by. It seems the closer, we are to the end of the year, the faster the time goes. But anyway, here are last week's goals (and what I got done):

1. Write out my budget- I did some of this. For the most part, I wrote down and figured out a debt repayment plan, which right now, is my biggest priority. I am also giving my self a $150 weekly budget, meaning that that's the amount I have to work with each week for gas, food, etc. Everything else is going towards bills and paying back my credit card debt. Still need to write out a more concrete budget though.

2. Workout at least 3 days a week- Um yea, this didn't happen. I keep trying to get my butt to the gym, but have been full of excuses lately. I want to go, but just am not motivated enough, or allow other things to get in the way. Let's hope this week it actually happens.

3. Blog- I think I'm doing a little better here. I think.

Now for this week's goals, I will keep it short since I'm post this so late.

1. Write out budget- Basically, write out the rest of my budget plan other than the debt repayment portion.

2. Write Blog Schedule- I really do need to do this so I can make sure I am blogging time sensitive stuff on time and also so I can start providing you with more posts.

So there, I'm keeping it simple and doable. I really need to start focusing on what I need to do and stop getting so distracted (but how can I not with my cute new boo? LOL). But baby steps.

What are your goals for this week? Share in the comments and let me know what you think about mine.

Old Factory Candle Review + Giveaway

Old Factory Candle Review and Giveaway
*This post is sponsored by Brand Backer and Old Factory, but all opinions are my own*
I have a confession to make: I have a crazy obsession with candles! Seriously, if I'm notified of a candle sale, I will go and stock up even if I just bought like 5 candles the week before. I have a collection of them growing under my bed (that's my unburned stash only) and will light one or two everyday. So when I was asked by Old Factory to try out their candles, I was immediately on board.

Old Factory Candle Review and Giveaway

I was given the choice of several different gift sets, each with a theme. I was very tempted to get the Fall Harvest (Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry and Autumn Leaves) or the Happy Holidays(Christmas Tree, Candy Cane and Gingerbread) set, but let's be real, I already have stocked up on similar scents. So instead, I decided to choose the Winter Wonderland set which comes with First Snow, Hot Cocoa and Roasted Chestnut. LA doesn't really have a true winter, so this would be the closest I could get to getting in that winter spirit that embodies all the holidays and makes for a perfect reading ambiance.

Old Factory Candle Review and Giveaway

They honestly smell amazing, although my favorite one is roasted chestnuts! It makes me feel like I'm in front of a fireplace, even though I'm nowhere near one. It's a good thing that these candles burn for up to 20 hours. It means I can enjoy the scents for at least the next two weeks or so. I also love their low-key simple packaging.  What's also cool is that they are hand-poured in the USA with natural soy wax, self-trimming wicks, and premium fragrance oils. They are great for your home or even as a gift (um have you seen the Black Friday ads that are out already?).

Well lucky for one of you, Old Factory has decided to giveaway one of their sets. You can choose from the ones mentioned above, or from the following: New BornCoffee Shop , Fresh & CleanHigh as A KiteMan CaveRomanceSpa DayVacation, and Fifty Shades (uh hello, have you seen the trailers?!). Enter below, you have until November 23rd at 12 am. Good luck :) Also available on Amazon.

Weekly Wishes #6

Another week, another set of wishes. For starters, I wish I could get it together and get these posts up on Mondays, but guess I'll work up to that. But anyway, I can't believe we are almost half way through this month. It's scary to see how fast time goes by, but the only thing we can do is enjoy the ride. Last week I shared my wishes/goals for the month. Here they are for review (and what I've actually worked on):

1.  Create a budget and stick to it.- I'd cross this off, but I've only done a very basic concept of this. But hey at least I've actually started to think of a system, a deadline and tools. On the plus side, I was able to pay off one credit card, now to focus on paying off the other one.

2. Read More- Yea still working on the reading.

3. Sleep-  I actually have been getting more sleep this past week. Part of that being that I've fallen asleep before I even know it.

4. Participate in NaNoWriMo. -  I haven't been writing everyday, but reworking a story I had started, but left very unfinished. I think I'll be able to finish it by the end of the month.

5. Exercise more and eat healthier.- I haven't been to the gym yet this week although I hope to go at least 3 days, meaning Today, Tomorrow and Sunday. As for eating healthier, I actually have been able to avoid the candy and chips at work. I've been eating more fruit and trying to eat at home as much as possible.

6. Keep up with Blog Posts & Youtube Videos- Yea I'm working on it.

So my November goals are still in their early stages, but let's focus on this week.

1. Write out my budget- This is totally doable. I got the resources, now just have to put pen to paper.

2. Workout at least 3 days a week- Hoping to get to this before the next weekly wishes post. I think I can do it.

3. Blog- Again, working on this. But hoping to put out two posts I've been meaning to write for some time.

I'm keeping it simple this week. I am currently busy also trying to get Charlie re-trained (he's been having issues with separation anxiety), so I want to be able to make things doable.

What are your goals for this week? Share in the comments and let me know what you think about mine.

Weekly Wishes #5: November Wishes

OMG, it's November already. Honestly can't believe October (such a great month) is over and that we only have two months left of this year. It really has been a great year for the most part and I'm willing to finish it off with a bang by keeping up with my weekly wishes.

Here are last week's wishes:
1. Get Some Sleep- I finally got some sleep over the weekend. YAYY!!! I slept in a lot on Saturday and thanks to daylight savings time being over, I got really decent sleep Saturday night. It's an improvement, but still needs a lot of work.

2. Get Charlie to a groomer- So happy I was able to do this. His hair doesn't grow long, but he needed a trim around the eyes and belly area and needed his nails clipped. Now he looks a bit better.

3. Order a new phone- Ok so I tried to do this, but since my mom's phone hasn't arrived and therefore hasn't been activated, I can't transfer my line quite yet. It also means I can't order my phone quite yet.

I like that I was able to cross off two things from my list and almost did the third one if only I'd be able to order the phone. Definitely a nice feeling of accomplishment.

But now its a new week and a new month so guess it's time to put forth some new wishes and maybe some that are a bit more long-term (for the month anyway).

{Source: Unsplash}
1.  Create a budget and stick to it.- This is the first order of business for the month of November. I've been meaning to do this for a while, but after pretty much spending a whole paycheck in a weekend, I realize I need something concrete to follow so I can pay off some bills.

2. Read More- My goal is to read at least 4 books this month. I feel like I can do this, I just need to create a routine and make time.

3. Sleep- I hope that by the end of the month, I will be getting at least 6 hours of sleep a night. Fingers crossed.

4. Participate in NaNoWriMo. - I plan on trying/attempting to write a novel this month as part of the National Novel Writing Month that occurs in November. Like I've said in previous posts, I like to challenge myself.

5. Exercise more and eat healthier.- I use to be a lot better at doing this not too long ago. I need to start doing this again. Perhaps try new recipes with my new special someone since we tend to cook or bake pretty much all the time we get together. And he is willing to join me on my workouts so yay!!

6. Keep up with Blog Posts &Youtube Videos- So I realize that since work started, my blog has suffered a bit. I need to change this and start posting more and stick to the schedule I'd made for my videos.

As you can see, I have lots to keep me busy this week/month, but I will try my best to get on it.

What are your wishes this week/month? Let me know in the comments below. Can't wait to see what they are.

Weekly Wishes #4

I can't believe I've been doing this for a month. And just like last week, this post is a bit late. Mostly it's due to the fact that I've barely been home and have been enjoying lots of time with friends and my new special someone. But I haven't forgotten about you or my blog! So how did week 3 go?

Let's review what I wanted to accomplish:
1. Get More Sleep.- Like I said, I've barely been home so this definitely did not happen. But still striving for it.

2. Organize Blog Duties- I was able to take care of some blog things and get a bit more organized. I also, along with a coworker, decided to invest in some blog design tools so at least some of this got done.

3. Read More.- Yea this really didn't happen. But still working on it.

So now for this week's goals:

1. Get Some Sleep.- So this one is slightly modified this week since it is Halloween tomorrow and well I'll be surprised if I get any sleep that day. This week has already been a weird one for sleep, but hey hopefully this weekend is a chill one and I get to nap most of it with Charlie.

2. Get Charlie to a groomer- So Charlie was having some issues with dry paw pads, but now that we took care of that, he really needs to get his nails cut cuz I'm too scared to do it myself. He also needs a light trim so his hair isn't poking his cute puppy eyes. So this is a weekend task.

3. Order a new phone- I really need to go do this. I still own an iPhone 4S and it is finally letting me know it's end is near. And now that I'm no longer under my ex's contract, I really should go place my iPhone 6 Plus order so I can get a new phone this year.

So again, keeping it short, simple and somewhat doable this week. I have a feeling, I can cross off two of them off easily. I may be terrible at this keeping my wishes thing (for now), but still love these little lists.

Weekly Wishes #3

So third week is starting off a bit rocky. I've been busy going out with friends a lot this past week or so, which is great, but would end up with me being too tired to open up the computer once I got home. But thankfully, I'm only late with this post by about 2 days or so. Wow, time seems to always fly by so quickly. Now, let's see what I was able to accomplish and what I want to get done with this week.

Tea Tree Oil Review + Giveaway

*This post was sponsored by Brand Backer and Apothecary, but all opinions are my own*
Another day, another skin care product I was given the opportunity to review. Now I'm sure you've heard of tea tree oil or have used a product that had it as an ingredient. This could have been a facial cleanser, a shampoo or a lotion among other things. But most of those products probably only had traces of it and it most likely wasn't 100% pure tea tree oil. However, Apothecary Extracts 100% Pure Tea Tree Oil is the real thing, with no extra additives to it. And it can be used in many other ways.

Weekly Wishes #2

YAYYY, Weekly Wishes is back! I apologize that this post is going up a bit late this Monday, but I was working on another important post and also work was busy so I couldn't sneak in time then. But anyway, I'm excited to be starting my second week of weekly wishes.

Friday Favorites: Squees & More!

{Source: AHS Freakshow Twitter}
So this Friday has been full of surprises. Or really one somewhat unpleasant surprise. I ended up in the ER cuz I injured my foot, but thankfully no fracture just a fat swollen bruised foot for the weekend. But let's just focus on the positive.

Weekly Wishes #1

If you have been reading my blog for some time now, you may have seen me mention my love of to-do lists or something to that effect from time to time. Well I'm about to share a little more of my love for them with you with a new weekly post. This will not replace some of my Monday features, but will become a nice addition and a way to recommit to this blog since I've only been blogging once of week if at all. So starting today I'd like to introduce you to Weekly Wishes. Now before I get to what my weekly to-do list/goals are for the week, let me just mention that this wasn't of my own doing. This is actually part of a link-up that Melyssa over at the The Nectar Collective started sometime last year and it has since grown and spread to many other wonderful bloggers.

HELLO Stranger!

*Many thanks to Lindt HELLO for sponsoring today’s story, and giving my readers a chance to win really sweet prizes!*
Hello is the start of many conversations, whether it's introducing yourself for the first time or you are greeting family and friends. My favorite person I say this to is Michael (my boyfriend), whether it is in text, or in person. Lately both of us haven't seen much of each other due to our busy schedules, but last Thursday we were finally able to have a simple little date night, and I greeted him by saying, "HELLO, stranger!" While our date was simple, it was made memorable thanks to some new chocolate from Lindt. And let's just say Lindt knows how to say HELLO!

Makeup Monday: SOBO Skin Care Review

*This post is sponsored by Brandbacker and SOBO Skin Care, but all opinions are my own*
Here's to another skin care focused post, who else is excited? As you know, lately I've been very serious about my skin and also ways to "anti-age" it (or rather slow down that process lol). This time I was sent and asked to review SOBO's ULTRA Age Repairing Cream with Reserveratol.

Help My Friend Publish Her Book!

I know I haven't blogged in a while and I apologize for that. Work has been crazy and I've had a lot to take care of on my days (weekends) off. Anyway, today I wanted to ask for your help on behalf of my friend Vanessa. She is not only my coworker and friend, but also is a self-publish author. She has a KickStarter going on right now and needs your help so she can publish her book.

OOTD: Letters at the Beach

I've been trying to post this Outfit of the Day since Monday, but work and my computer decided otherwise. Work kept me busy, but iPhoto decided to give me a heart attack telling me I had lost these pictures. Thankfully, I found a blog that explained how to recover the pics. Anyway, last Sunday, I finally got myself to the beach. Even though I live in California and the beach is only a short drive away, I usually get busy or plans to the beach fall through. But glad Labor Day weekend came around and my mom and sister decided it was a great time to go to the beach (even with the crowds).

Favorite Emmy's 2014 Looks

So I was going to make this a Trendy Tuesday post since it is very fashion related, but then I thought, well there are some dresses I loved that didn't necessarily fall into one of the trends of the night. Some trends I did like were the full skirts and the white and red ones, but then there were some I liked simply because they were gorgeous or were on women I admire in the industry. Also there are some looks that don't fall into the red carpet looks of the night, but were part of the after party celebration and even one that was exclusive to a Yahoo! Live host.

Review: Exuviance® Performance Peel AP25 & Evening Restorative Complex

*This post is sponsored by Brand Backer and Exuviance®, but all opinions are my own *
So happy to bring you another review. Like I've mentioned before, lately I've been very into my skincare routine. I've also been getting so many opportunities to try new products thanks to you and the wonderful networks I've become a part of. This time around, I got the opportunity to try the Exuviance® Performance Peel AP25 and Exuviance® Evening Restorative Complex. I was suppose to try their Illumination Duo that also features the complex, but they ran out of samples. However, I'm quite pleased with what I was sent.

Chili's® At Home = Best Frozen Food

* Thank you to Bellisio Foods for sponsoring this post and keeping my meals tasty and bold! *
If you haven't been able to tell, my new job (i.e. my new schedule) has been keeping me busy. Sorry about that, but believe me I'm trying my best to get it together for you. Thankfully that's really the only downside to this new chapter in my life. Everything else has been great and has added boldness and excitement to my life. So when I was offered the opportunity to try big, bold and tasty flavors of Chili’s® at Home I got very excited since it fit my bold new (and busy) lifestyle. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first because it is after all a frozen dinner, but I remember how much I enjoyed going to Chili's for lunch dates with Michael during college and couldn't resist.

Makeup Monday: Even Glow Serum Review

*This post is sponsored by BrandBacker and Valentia*
Sorry I haven't posted as often the past two weeks, but thankfully I am back with an awesome product review for you. Last week was just as crazy as the one before, but things seem to finally be calming down and I seem to finally be adjusting. Anyway, I've been waiting to share this review with you and I'm happy to finally be able to share it. I was chosen by Valentia Skin Care through BrandBacker to try out their Even Glow Serum. I wanted to try it for at least a week to review it so now here it is.

Save the Undies: What I'd Rather Spend my Money On

*This article is sponsored by U by Kotex® Pads, all opinions however are my own*
I know it's been a while since I blogged (hello its August 10th already). I apologize for this, I've honestly just been adjusting to my new work schedule so I'm sorry about that. Anyway, back in June I wrote post about joining the Save the Undies campaign by U by Kotex®. I told you how much I hate ruining my favorite pairs of undies at the hands of my period since I'm quite particular about them. Well not only is it heartbreaking to lose my favorite pair after searching high and low for a comfortable pair and one that won't give me ugly panty lines, but it's also expensive.

Stripe Garden

I don't often experiment with patterns, but on Monday I just had the urge to try my floral printed Gap jeans with my striped button-up. It was something my fashionista brain told me I just had to try. I was a bit scared to try this out because like I said I don't experiment much with patterns. Sure I love patterns on their own, but mixing and matching them is whole other ballgame. After years of wanting to take the risk and follow in other fashion lovers' footsteps(ahem, Ms. Lauren Conrad), I finally took told myself, "Why not?" and just did it.

#ShareBeauty - My Beauty Story

*This post is sponsored by Regency Beauty Institute but all my opinions are my own.*

Today I'd like to tell my story on how I share beauty. If you haven't noticed already, I can be a bit of a beauty junkie. My Makeup Monday posts and my beauty channel may have already given that away, but my love for products started much earlier. This love has allowed me a way to express myself and my creativity. For that I am grateful. So here's my story:

Seeing the Queen Musical

queen musical, we will rock you, ahmanson theatre, life

Sorry for being a bit MIA the past week or so. I am still trying to get the hang of my new work schedule, although this week was a bit unusual since I had to come in a bit earlier and it threw me off a little. Anyway, I wanted to share something that happened Tuesday night. As you know, I am currently doing an editorial internship. While most of the time it's just me writing in an office, there are some perks that involve attending some fun events. Sometimes its to cover an actual story, but other times, its just because they have extra tickets. That was the case with the "We Will Rock You" Queen Musical and I'm happy to have gotten tickets!

Where I'd Go If Someone Gave me a Free Plane Ticket

{Source: 20SB Prompt}
Sorry for the long post title LOL. Anyway, today I had planned on a different post altogether, but it didn't quite work out since I got busy and wasn't able to get it together. However, I decided to use the prompt from Twenty Something Blogger's Network. This prompt is actually perfect for the summer since it means vacation for most of us and when people usually are able to take some awesome trips. Unfortunately, I'm too broke right now to go to the many places I'd like to visit, but if someone gave me a free plane ticket, I'd be so stoked!!

Trendy Tuesday: Pump Up the Color!

Pump Up the Color

Pump Up the Color by astridstars featuring yellow pumps

Meant to publish this earlier, but got a major headache from the heat and adjusting to my new glasses(new prescription). Anyway, this post actually was inspired by two separate things that I came across over the weekend. The first thing to inspire this post is a tweet my friend Sally from Antiques & Coffee received after asking what people wanted to see on her blog. One follower responded by saying she was loving the powder blue mid heels. The other source of inspo was the most recent issue of People's Magazine that I read out of boredom while I was working over the holiday. It was on the coffee table and I wasn't quite ready for bed so I flipped through it and they had a feature on the colored pumps trend. Lightbulbs!

Influenster Surf's Up VoxBox

I hope everyone had a wonderful July 4th Holiday Weekend :) I know I certainly had fun, even if I was technically working this weekend(nanny duty). I meant to schedule some posts, but as per usual, I got tied up with last minute shenanigans(such as getting a new job!!!). I did however manage to upload my unboxing of my Influenster #SurfUpVoxBox on my beauty channel. So now here is the post to go along with it, that I meant to write before I left.

Help Bring Back Reading Rainbow!

This is a very special post to me and one that I meant to post up earlier last week, but life and such pushed it back. Also to be clear, this is NOT a sponsored post. It is simply one that I was inspired to make by Katie from Inkspot after she asked fellow Her Campus bloggers to help support the Reading Rainbow Kickstarter. As a loving book lover, I had to join in!

Save the Undies!

*This article is sponsored by U by Kotex® Pads, all opinions however are my own*

I don't know about you, but I'm very particular about my undies. I actually annoy my mom with how picky can be when buying new pairs. I look not only for comfort, but also for ones that won't give me panty lines(my pet peeve). Because it takes me such a long time to find the perfect ones, it breaks my heart when I lose my favorite pairs to my evil period. That's why I'm glad to join the Save the Undies campaign brought to you by U by Kotex®!

Must-See Monday: Cold Justice, "Stranded"

*Sponsored post, but opinions are completely my own*

Remember I had said I had exciting news to come sometime last week? Well this is one of the things I was talking about. Today's Must-See Monday is all about the return of season 2 of TNT's show Cold Justice. The show returned last Friday with the episode "Stranded" and I was very kindly (and surprisingly, LOL) asked to review this show.

Thoughts on Thursday: Summer Bucket List

create your summer, summer bucket list, thoughts on thursday,
{Source: me}
For this week's Thoughts on Thursday, I wanted to do something fun and that's appropriate with summer just around the corner. Each summer, I like to create a bucket list. Sure I have a bucket list for my life, but I also like making one specifically for the summer because it is usually when I actually have the time to attempt the items on my list. It also makes me more excited for summer.
